Asia Regional Policy and Advocacy Advisor
Based: Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Nepal
Salary: Competitive local salary

WaterAid is looking for a senior advisor to lead its advocacy work in its Asia Regional Programme. By lobbying governments, donors and decision makers you will influence policy across the region. By planning advocacy campaigns, leading on policy analysis and researching and building the capacity of WaterAid’s Country Programmes, you will help seek pro-poor utility reform to ensure that the poorest people gain access to safe and adequate water and sanitation services.

With an impressive senior track record that includes research, policy analysis, advocacy work and lobbying, ideally gained within South Asia, you’re the advisor we need. You have experience of developing training programmes and running international campaigns, supported by a cultural and political awareness. English and South Asian communication skills are vital.

IT Network Manager
£25,847-£32,507 plus up to 10% pension contribution

WaterAid is looking for a talented all-rounder to lead the management, administration and support of its IT infrastructure, including hardware, software and networks. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will ensure IT resources meet the needs of the organisation, now and in the future.

This role will involve hands-on technical leadership in areas such as system security, troubleshooting, user helpdesk and network administration, together with more strategic considerations, including budgeting, capacity planning and contract management. This is a varied, challenging role, in a dynamic, diverse environment.

Degree and preferably MCSE/MCP qualified, you should have strong, relevant skills and experience, including network administration, IT systems management, team leadership and planning/budgeting. A clear ability to translate business needs into IT strategy will also be vital.
